Unintelligent Thinking

I just heard the most asinine thinking -- or nonthinking -- on NPR from a supposedly intelligent college senior. This woman, who is a Republican student leader, says she is pro-choice and is a women's studies minor, but isn't bothered by the Republicans' and Mitt Romney's anti-choice (at least for the moment) position because as president, Romney "can't change that. Only the Supreme Court can do that, so I'm not concerned about it." Just how does she think Supreme Court justices are selected? To me, the fact that the President does appoint Supreme Court justices is the number-one reason NOT to vote for Romney.
